Itinerary
Day 1. You are met at the airport and escorted to our base hotel the Steverburg. After you have been shown your rooms at the hotel, you will be introduced to the bikes and we will go through our routes with you, explaining the cycling system and give you all the detailed information you will need during your tour.

Day 2. 20-40 miles. After your breakfast, you are introduced to the bikes and the routes are explained to you by our guide. Your first days cycling takes you down towards the stever stream that leads you through beautiful countryside towards today’s destination of Münster. In Münster you can visit numerous historical buildings, churches and even a palace. Or you can just sit back in a street cafe and watch the world go by. For the return journey, you have the option of either cycling back or taking the tram, which stops about 2 miles from your hotel.
Day 3. 26 miles. After your buffet breakfast you head down the Baumberger foothills towards Velen. Passing through Nottuln and meandering through peaceful countryside until you reach Velen where you will stay in a luxurious castle.
Day 4. 15 miles. On the fifth day you are taken through quite fields of wild flowers and passing one small market town until you reach Oeding, where you will stay in a medieval watch tower. Your room is actually one of the rooms of the old walls watchtowers, originally built in the 14th century.
Day 5. . 26 miles. After breakfast buffet, the day’s tour takes you to Anholt. Cycling through a rural landscape filled with scented flowers, fields of maze and forests. You will be led to the very imposing 13th century castle of Anholt where you will spend the night in absolute luxury.
Day 6. 24 miles. After spending the night enjoying the luxury of castle Anholt, your tour takes you along the river Aa passing the city of Bocholt. You then cycle through typical Westfalian countryside which is a beautiful combination of open fields and woods, sometimes looking as if it had been intentionally landscaped into a English country garden..
Day 7. 28 miles Todays tour takes you through Rasefeld where you will see the old castle and Medieval observatory. The tour is completely flat and takes you through beautiful countryside passing fields of wild flowers and giving you frequent opportunities to take light refreshments in one of the many “Beergartens” which are dotted along the route. At the end of the day you can relax and enjoy the comfort of schloss Velen, one of the best addresses in Geramny.
Day 8. 29 miles. On your last day you head back towards Nottuln passing through two picturesque market towns of Darfeld and Billerbeck. On this route you will cycle through stunning scenery and very quite and peaceful countryside.
